Some Saturdays call for a proper adventure, and some Saturdays just call for Ikea. This one was both. We loaded up, grabbed a giant yellow cart, and set off into the maze of showrooms like we owned the place.
Ruby appointed herself the official navigator (map in hand, very serious about it), and Maple picked out a shark plushie for "protection" in the cart. We tried every couch, opened every drawer, and made it all the way to the cafeteria for the main event: meatballs and mashed potatoes for Maple, ramen for Ruby.
By the time we walked out under the big blue "Hej då" sign, we had one bag of little things we didn't need and a whole afternoon of memories we did. Simple life, happy life.
