Golden Hour Sippin' & Smilin'

Last night, the light hit the porch just right. Ruby poured two mason jars of sweet tea, and we sat on the steps until the mosquitoes finally won. Maple said the sky looked like a peach pie, and honestly? She wasn't wrong.
These are the moments I want to hold onto. Not the big trips or the planned photoshoots, but the ordinary Tuesday evenings where the girls are sticky from popsicles, giggling at something only they understand, and the Oklahoma sun is doing that slow, golden melt into the horizon.
Ruby is at the age where she wants to be so grown up, but she still reaches for Maple's hand when the crickets get too loud. And Maple still looks at her big sister like she hung the moon. I hope that lasts a little longer than they think it will.
